Microsoft has announced that it's Project Natal motion control system for its Xbox 360 will go on sale in the United States in November 2010.
The new motion detection system means you can play games with no controllers, the system detects movement and translates it to the console.

I personally won't want this for the same reason I never want a Wii, I play games to relax not jump around my living room. After a day at work the last thing I want to do is prance around like an idiot!
There probably will be applications where this technology can be quite useful, but I don't think gaming is the place for it - they are just trying to cash in on the success of the Wii.
